Introduction:
Sora is one of Japan's most pop AV stars. When 18 she made her debut in November 2001 as a x model. Her first movie was "Happy Go Lucky!", released 7-30,2002, a few months before Sora's 19th birthday. Before that, she had been in three different videos, but their release dates are unknown and it is also unknown whether Sora was of age when they were made. Since then she has been in over 50 adult films.
Prior to Aoi Sora's signing with the Kuki AV company (which includes the Samantha, and Alice Japan labels), Sora made two adult movies, Summer Break and Twinkle Twinkle. They supposedly aired on a subscription porn TV service, although details have not been confirmed yet.
Aoi Sora made her official AV debut the next year, at the age of 18, in the Alice Japan production, Happy Go Lucky. Released in July, 2002, the film focused on Sora's youth and "new face" status, with her acting as an urabon, and a schoolgirl who is kidnapped and raped by her teacher. Sora Aoi played a role in "Nobuta Wo Produce" and her role is Nozumi a sister of a vengeful enoki Tsuyako.

There had been rumors of Sora making a break into the music industry; in April of 2006 they were finally put to rest with a confirmation of Sora's first single on May 31st, 2006. Before this, Sora had been on the NEW ROTE'KA tribute album covering one of their songs with ROTE'KA Amigos. Among some of Sora's best friends are model/singer Kawabe Chieco and gravure idol Nakagawa Shouko.
